There’s so much to discover about glass — it’s one of the coolest materials out there! The main tool used to shape it?A flame. Yes, actual fire! It’s therapeutic, mesmerizing, and surprisingly fun.
Cisne Aka (Swan), originally from the Caribbean, will be guiding you through the session.
So, what do you need to join the fun? Just yourself!
Here’s what Cisne will be sharing with you during the class:
1. An introduction to the art of glass
2. How to heat and shape a borosilicate glass rod until it’s glowing hot
3. Techniques for manipulating the glass using tools like tweezers, scissors, and more
Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to get back into it, this workshop is a creative and hands-on experience you won’t want to miss.
The class is wheelchair accessible.
